These guys - there are only a few known - are what you might call 
"permanent novae" (somehow that name has never emerged), because they're 
powered by quasi-STEADY burning of H... rather than ACCRETION, which is 
a more feeble source of energy.  The prototype is "CAL 87", if you want 
to read about them.  The northern guys seem to like the autumn weather, 
and so do we northerners... so it's a good time to study them.

I'd put QR And and T Pyx in this category... and possibly V Sge and some 
others.  Few in numbers, but GREAT in luminosity.  Maybe you guys know 
some others.  Candidates have to binaries, blue/Uv, and variable stars.
