Dear CBAers,

Full note on targets du jour coming up in a few days.  But I wanted to
notify you of an upcoming HST campaign on DW UMa, starting about now and
ending on April 6. Definitely the top priority northern target, and likely
to have a big impact with the simultaneous ultraviolet observation.

In the south, V393 Hya remains the best target, with T Pyx a good
secondary.

Greg Bolt reports large and virginal superhumps in this star, currently
near mag 15.5.  Great end-of-night object... by patching together data
from several longitudes, we should be able to solve all the relevant
period issues.  Fire away!  It's called "Oph" in the Downes catalogue...
and notice the star has a little unwanted friend that you'll want to deal
with in some suitable manner.

Dear CBAers,

I attach an announcement from Peter Williams about a bright outburst
("super") in V803 Cen.  We've observed such things before, and gotten
quite excellent data... but the seasonal timing is excellent, and over the
next few weeks it seems likely we'll have three-continent coverage.
Namely, Berto in S Africa, the usual suspects in NZ/AU, and Paul Warhurst
in Argentina (who will be there on a long trip).  This is too tempting to
pass up.  V393 Hya is showing a period which seems very stable - so I
think we can leave it for a couple months.  So let's REPLACE V393 Hya with
V803 Cen as the prime southern object.

SDSS1637-00 is still very good too. That has the added merit of permitting
North American coverage.
