Dear CBAers,
Strike this star from your observing menu! I looked at the new data from
Brian and Dave East, but I think the observing season now is just too
short. I also worked very hard on the data from the earlier campaign, and
found that I could break the alias. It's actually a very powerful
negative superhumper, with signals at N, wo+N, 2wo+N, 3wo+N, 4wo+N, and
5wo+N, as well as wo (the orbital frequency) itself. Beauteous.
So UU Aqr is the best target now, with Cep 1 for (northern) people who
like to swim in the deep blue sea. Tonny, feel free to make another pitch
for V405 Vul; I think Tonny is still observing it and maybe can make some
sense outa the power spectrum, which I couldn't.
IY UMa and DV UMa will both be coming out in Dec 2000 PASP. We'll have
the final accepted versions up on the CBA website in just a few days,
along with V751 Cyg I reckon.
Go Red Sox.
joe
