Ursa Majoris 6: A Bright Disk 
at High Latitude

UMa 6 figure

UMa6 is a double-lined eclipsing binary with an orbital period of 10.04 hours. It probably coincides with the X-ray source H0928+501, but this has not yet been confirmed. During JD 50835-9 Bob Fried got long coverage on each night, and assembled an accurate mean light curve, shown above.
