New AM CVn star, reasonably bright - definitely a very tempting target

ASASSN-15kf: superoutburst of a new AM CVn-type

    Berto Monard has reported observations.
The data show superhumps with a period of 0.01922(9) d
and an amplitude of 0.12 mag.  The period strongly
suggests an AM CVn-type object (similar to CP Eri?).
According to ASAS-SN data, outbursts appear to be
relatively rare.  Since the object is relatively bright,
intensive observations of the start of the next outburst
will provide us an opportunity to detect stage A
superhumps.  Monitoring for outbursts by visual observations
are also very helpful.
