    Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for your diligence. The various SW observers are coping,
or more likely not coping, with thunderstorms right now, so we could
have a big hole in coverage now. Anyway, can anyone let Mike off the hook?

From the waves I've seen so far from Koff, Starkey, and Masi, this is
certainly a super. And from all the various pre-existing clocks in the
system, it's likely to exceed even the great WZ Sge in importance.

As some of you australites know, a remarkable microlensing event
occurred last night also, down there in Sagittarius. So there are toys
    for southerners as well.
